I chuckled when I saw this Change the message on HP printers cause I thought it was pretty funny. Then I recalled that FX from Pheonlite did this ages ago and spoke about it at BlackHat 2002 his presentation is here As I recall he did the “Insert Coin” trick but he also exploited to the point of uploading a port scanner. Amazing stuff. I missed his talk because I was speaking at the same time but I got a brief preview while we where waiting to speak.
